Transit Report 2/12/25

As the dust settles from today’s full moon, we're left with the lingering intense energy of the fixed Uranus driven tsquare.

But soon our attention quickly turns to Mercury, which reaches the anaretic degree of Aquarius tomorrow. The 29th degree is often referred to as the degree of fate—an intense, climactic point where the planet releases a final surge of energy before moving on into a new sign. In the case of Mercury, the planet of thought, communication, and perception, this can manifest as mental overstimulation, sudden revelations, or a sense of urgency to express ideas before the window of opportunity closes.

Given that Aquarius is a sign associated with innovation, disruption, and collective consciousness, this could feel like an almost desperate push for clarity or a last-ditch effort to communicate something revolutionary this moon brought to the forefront of our mind and heart before the energy shifts into a new phase.

Mercury at the anaretic degree can create an almost frenetic quality to our thoughts and interactions. We could see this lead to heightened sensitivity in conversations, unexpected epiphanies, or even a sense of restlessness and urgency for resolution as we try to make sense of what has surfaced.

There’s also a karmic weight to this degree, as if unresolved thoughts or unspoken words are demanding to be acknowledged before Mercury transitions into a new chapter. This is a moment where themes of completion and culmination are strong, urging us to tie up loose ends, make necessary decisions, or release outdated perspectives that no longer serve us.

Mercury’s totally unaspected save for a conjunction with Ceres and the Sun which adds an extra layer of significance.

Ceres represents nurturing, your devotion from your mother and to your children, sustenance, and cycles of loss and renewal, while the Sun illuminates and vitalizes whatever it touches. This alignment suggests that the insights or conversations arising now may be deeply tied to our sense of belonging, emotional well-being, or how we express care for ourselves and others. It could also bring attention to societal themes of collective support, especially as Aquarius governs the broader social sphere.

The challenge here is to navigate this intense mental and emotional terrain without becoming overwhelmed—allowing Mercury’s final statement in Aquarius to be one of wisdom, rather than reactionary impulse.
