Chaotic Exhaustion of This Ecliptograde

(Originally posted March 18th 2025)

We’re deep in the ecliptograde, a chaotic intersection of eclipses and retrogrades, and it’s been taking a serious emotional and mental toll on a lot of us.

If you’re feeling drained, irritable, or just off, you’re not alone. Today’s Vestal Kite in transit reminds us that healing isn’t passive, it’s an investment.

The Moon moves through Scorpio conjunct Vesta, and forms a kite major aspect pattern by forming a trine to Mars and Saturn and opposing Uranus in Taurus which forms the kite’s apex.

Scorpio wants us to be surgical with our emotions. Protective, intentional, and deeply intuitive. Vesta reinforces this by calling us back to our own sacred work: What are you devoted to? What are you willing to dedicate your life to? This is a day for sharpening our skills, reclaiming our energy, and directing it toward something meaningful.

For those working in fields where trust and transactions go hand in hand—sales, sex work, investments, any commission-based or wealth-management roles—this is a powerful moment. The Scorpio-Vesta fusion asks: Are you honoring the energy exchange in your work? Are you being compensated in a way that reflects your worth? It’s time to refine your approach, enforce boundaries, and call back any scattered power.

With the grand water trine between the Moon, Mars, and Saturn, there’s an undercurrent of steady, strategic action. Mars in Cancer fuels our emotional drive, but Saturn in Pisces tempers it with discipline. This isn’t about chasing every impulse, it’s about deepening our emotional intelligence and applying it with focus. We can harness our emotions productively and turn intensity into power. But only if we stop avoiding the real work.

That Moon-Uranus opposition? That’s where the kite focuses and expresses its energy. Uranus in Taurus is a disruptor, an agent of change. If you’re feeling restless, uncertain, or like you’re this close to a breakthrough, you are. Uranus shakes loose what’s stagnant when activated, and it happens whether we like it or not. Expect some aha moments, flashes of clarity, or even sudden shifts in how you value yourself. Let them come and inspire the changes you want to make in life.

My advice today is to get it out of your head and onto the page!

No screens. No filters. No overthinking. Just write.

Free flowing, automatic, impulsive, and raw. Let it all spill out onto paper page after page until your brain is exhausted and your hand aches.

Let the emotions go somewhere tangible, somewhere black and white, where they can be seen and tackled. This isn’t about making it pretty or writing it so that it makes sense to anyone but yourself, it’s about stopping the cycle of anxiety and frustration before the solar eclipse on the 29th.

That eclipse, followed by a full moon with Chiron in exact conjunction to the Sun, is closing out a cycle that’s been open since last April's Chironic Eclipse.

The wounds that surfaced then? The stories that started unfolding? They’re reaching a turning point right now. We don’t have to stay stuck in them, we have a chance to shift, to rewrite, to break free.

So today, we we invest in ourselves, our intuition, and commit to the work that will carry us forward to the life we've been working so hard to build.

No more passivity, no more avoidance.
