The Blame Game is Toxic Attachment
(Originally posted March 17th 2025)
Idk who needs this message today, but playing the blame game isn’t just about avoiding responsibility, it’s a toxic form of attachment and it's time to let it go.
Engaging in this "game" keeps us locked in unhealthy dynamics long after we committed ourselves to healing. It happens in families, in relationships, even in communities- anywhere pain overlaps and then entangles, creating an endless cycle of finger-pointing and justification.
“I wouldn’t have done that if you hadn’t done this.”
“Well, I only did this because he did that.”
“And he wouldn’t have done that if she hadn’t hurt him first.”
No one takes true ownership of anything, and because of that, no one ever steps into their true personal power. We want so badly to make someone else responsible for our wounds, to chase an apology, to demand recognition, or to keep the fight alive because it's a powerful energetic exchange that releases our inner tension in the moment, only to recycle it once again. We trade instant gratification energetically for long term improvement just so we don’t have to sit with the truth: no matter how unfair life has been, or what was or wasn't our fault, healing is still our sole responsibility.
And today, the transits are saying it's time for some hard truths to free your subconscious and your spirit.
The Sun is in exact conjunction with the North Node in Pisces which illuminates the path forward, yet demanding that we step into it self-guided and willingly. Pisces is the sign of surrender, dissolution, and transcendence. It asks us to release the need to control outcomes, to stop gripping onto old narratives, and to trust that moving forward without baggage is the only way to true freedom. This is a day for deep self-awareness, where we are confronted with the realization that we are either growing or staying stuck in cycles that drain us.
The Moon in Scorpio squares Pluto, digging up the depths of resentment, power struggles, and unspoken truths. It’s a volatile energy, and it has no other outlet (no other aspects to other planets) for energetic connection until tomorrow morning. This can push us into the familiar trenches of blame and control and resentment or force us to finally acknowledge the weight we’ve been carrying and transform into a new emotional paradigm.
By tomorrow morning, the Moon will conjunct Vesta and trine Mars, shifting our emotional focus toward devotion and action based on the choices and realizations we make today. What do we truly want to be dedicated to? The endless cycle of blame, or the fire of transformation?
When it comes to the blame game, the only way you win is to lose.
Get up, walk away, and let the other players fight each other for your pieces.
Let all the blame pile on as you walk away from it. Stop feeling the need to be right. Stop needing to defend yourself. Become indifferent to the opinions of the same people you once placed so much weight on. Disengage. Detach. Not with bitterness, but with clarity.
With freedom. Because it doesn’t matter who did what anymore. What matters now is how you move forward. With integrity, with peace, with a clean slate.
Take the lessons. Use the time wasted as tuition paid.
Healing isn’t about proving who was wrong first. It’s about refusing to play a game where no one ever wins. The Sun and North Node urge us forward. The Moon and Pluto force us to confront our shadows.
What will you do with what you now know? What will you do with all the time and energy you've saved by refusing to continue to play this game?
