Lunar Eclipse Lifting Cognitive Dissonance

Sometimes, things feel normal until you say them out loud. The moment the words leave your mouth... when you hear yourself describe the situation, it hits differently. Words really do have power!

The space for cognitive dissonance and self doubt is lifted, and an entirely different part of your brain processes the information.

And that’s exactly why people who manipulate, gaslight, and take advantage of you put so much effort into keeping you quiet, isolated from sounding boards who love you, and make you constantly second-guess yourself. Because once you give the truth a name, it becomes harder to ignore.

This Virgo Lunar Eclipse, with the Sun conjunct Saturn, is a reality check that asks us:

Can you be brutally honest with yourself about what’s not working?

Can you stop explaining away someone’s harmful behavior just because you’ve invested so much in them?

Are you sick to death enough of the way things are to finally do what it takes to change them?

Are you ready to see what else is out there and cut this "better the devil you know" bull and accept that there is a life for you with no devils at all?

Saturn doesn’t do sugarcoating. This transit strips away illusions and hands you the cold, hard facts whether you like them or not. Virgo, in its drive for improvement, asks you to get specific about what needs to shift. There’s no room for vague dissatisfaction. If something isn’t serving you, define it. Say it. Own it. Change it.
